Chinese competitors buying and setting my stock to pending
Over the last 3 days, all the stock sold that competes with Chinese sellers has been bought and set to pending. 500 units over 6 ASINs approx.
I am waiting to see if the orders materialise and if so, I expect them to be returned (FBA).
I have reported to Amazon who say they will report this to the suspicious buying activity team.
This is surely a suspendable abuse in setting a competitors stock to unavailable?
Technically these are legitimate orders but I am in no doubt they are not, too much of a coincidence.
Has anyone else had this experience??
How was this resolved??
What is the best way to deal with this???
What support can I expect from Amazon??
Any help would be appreciated

Since the orders are pending, it indicates that there aren’t enough funds available on the buyer’s card, so Amazon will keep attempting to charge it for weeks, before they get automatically cancelled.
Placing orders from a competitor without actually providing a valid payment method and keeping them in a pending status isn’t a suspendable offense and it is very unlikely they are doing so using their Seller Account anyway.
You could set a maximum order quantity to prevent this from happening again.
Unfortunately, Amazon will rarely take any action. Possibly, you could request them to cancel the orders on your behalf.
