Do we need to know Amazon's EORI number?

Hello,

Following Brexit, we now need an EU EORI number if shipping to an EU business from the UK. The relevant section on the customs document reads: Importer / Buyer VAT /EORI / Tax ID.

My question is, when sending an FBA shipment from the UK to an Amazon fulfilment centre within the EU, is it Amazon’s EORI number we enter into that section? If so, how to we obtain that?

Or do we use our own EU EORI number?

You use your EU EORI number, you are the importer, not Amazon.

I’d suggest using the location where you ship most goods to and have your ‘main’ EU VAT registration and apply for an EORI there.
