Seller Feedback - Does it affect Buy Box Metrics
Hi,. Do seller feedback affect seller metrics when it comes to winning the buy box, as it seems I have much better feedback than some of my competitors and they still seem to beat me to the buy box, even when there price is slightly higher, we are all SFP sellers or FBA sellers so we all have prime badge.
Also, what actually matters in the seller metrics in regards to that?

The BuyBox position depends on seller’s overall price + shipping, fulfillment method, handling time, Premium delivery and international delivery options, additional services such as gift wrap and metrics. The feedback percentage doesn’t matter.
FBA sellers may get the BuyBox with a 30% higher price than you, if you are FBM.
Handling time over 5-6 days will cause you to lose the BuyBox against all other competing offers.
Sellers who offer Premium and Expedited delivery have advantage over merchants without these options.
With ODR over 1% you will lose the BuyBox eligibility.
Also, newly registered sellers will need to wait until at least 90 days past registration and process at least 1 order to be BuyBox eligible.
Review all offers on the listing to see, if the other sellers appear to have any advantages.

Negative feedback can affect the buy box, but the things Kika has mentioned are much more important in winning the buy box - FBA, speed of delivery and pricing being the main ones. One or two negatives shouldn’t be an issue so focus on the other stuff.

I believe quantity of stock counts towards it too.
