Buyer leaves me a negative feedback one hour after placing an order saying the book had writing on the cover.
She obviously mixed my order up with another seller. I asked her politely to remove the feedback, no response. I had the performance team call me, the amazon agent told me not to worry, this is obviously a mistake, he told me how to appeal it and have them call me back, the Amazon agent, Stephanie called me back, she went to speak to her supervisor, I was on hold for 30 minutes and she got back on and was about to tell me the decision when the call was disconnected!
She didn't even call me back, now I can't get back through to her
I am so frustrated. One minute I am 100% feedback for the month (on only 2 feedback no one leaves feedback if they are pleased), now one unwarranted feedback drops me to 67% resulting in no sales. Going into the Holidays I am so depressed.
Can someone help give me some advice or an Amazon mediator help me?

Amazon will not remove feedback left in error. Your only hope is to get the buyer to remove it. You can point out their mistake politely, and tell them to look at their packing slip, if you provided one.

I had a negative feed back where they stated they didn't receive the item, after they lost an A-Z claim cause we had their delivery photos + signature confirmation. Ive never had feedback removed, period. They don't care.

I'm sorry this happened to you! I hope that customer responds and changes the feedback. There are 3 additional things you can do.
1. On the Feedback Manager page under Actions, you can click Request Removal. Click Yes. Amazon may strike it through.
2. Keep contacting Support. Amazon Support reps are incentivized to close cases, not find solutions. This is unfortunate for us sellers, but we're playing Amazon's game and they make the rules. I once contacted Support with an issue 7 times with no solution, and on the 8th try I was connected with a rep who really cared about helping me and fixed my problem.
3. Let it go. Negative reviews and feedback stink, but that's part of the game. Feedback doesn't get left often, but if you sell a good product that people like, positives will outweigh the negatives.
This is an unfortunate situation my friend, you aren't the first and you won't be the last to run into an issue like this. Best of luck and keep grinding!

Yet another reason the feedback system needs an overhaul. Make it so that it's a percentage of negative feedback vs numbers of orders. The current feedback system is completely broken.

I have literally read this very same post from another seller a few months ago. Amazon doesn't really care if it is for an incorrect product. Unfortunately, the best thing you can do is write a carefully written reply to the buyer and do everything you can to make sure you receive no more bad feedback. For what it's worth, if you have the product people want they aren't going to pay attention to your ratings this time of year.

Amazon refunded a customer, even though it was a larger order. Customer didn't send it back. Asked Amazon about it, they spent a long time on chat, I was waiting, then they told me that's how it is, I should talk to the customer and ask him to send it back. The customer GHOSTED me, told it to Amazon, they didn't care. :-/ Why would a customer send back $20 worth of product, if Amazon refunded him already? I sent multiple messages to the customer, he won't reply.
I mean, I made a mistake with the order, but Amazon didn't let me fix it. Amazon refunded the whole thing without a return, so I'm out of the shipping money and the $20 worth of product too. Even though if Amazon wouldn't make a mess I could just fix the mistake and there would be a happy customer and I wouldn't lose that much money either.
Amazon just created a scamming opportunity for someone, even though it was not necessary at all.
