Brand Approval - 10 individual items from the wholesaler or 10 packs from wholesaler
Hi everyone,
I need to show Amazon an invoice of my wholesale purchases for a Disney product in order to get approved and go on to sell Disney toys.
I know I need 10 items of a Disney product, but does this mean 10 individual items from the wholesaler e.g. if the wholesaler sells the Disney toy as a pack of 6, do I need to buy 2 packs so that I have over 10 items to show on the invoice or do I need to buy 10 of the packs of 6 from the wholesaler meaning I’d have 60 items.
I’m sure this is a silly question but I’d rather spend less to get approval than spend more to get approved and I don’t want to get it wrong.
Thanks

It means 10 individual selling units. Whether that be 10 packs of 10 units being sold, or 10 packs of 1 unit.
However, if your a new seller, I wouldn’t hold your breath on getting approved to sell Disney products.

In addition to Neil’s answer above, even if Amazon ‘approve’ you to sell make sure that you also have a LOA from the brand owner, whether this be Disney of the official licensee for the product, to sell on Amazon.

And just to note there was another seller who used a wholesaler invoice to get ungated for toys, only to have the same invoice rejected for a product authenticity request
The wholesaler in question sold direct to customers too - not just trade only so check your supplier

Have you been approved to sell in the toy category, and as the others have said, have you permission from Disney to sell their products ?
Also, can I ask from where you are buying the Disney toys. Are you sure they are genuine ?

Thanks everyone. Was really helpful info from you all.
I have been approved to sell in the toy category but from what you all have said I am second guessing whether to sell these products.
I sourced the products on NDA toys.
