Error 8058

I have been receiving this error 8058, it seems the support team is not reading the emails correctly because they are in a loop. They keep telling me to apply for sellers application when my sellers application was approved 3 weeks ago. I’ve been dealing with this issue now for 5 weeks and I don’t know what else to do please help or give me any advice if anyone else ran into this issue

Hello @Seller_b1PJ862YsCmRO,

Thanks for posting here. Error 8058 occurs when you haven’t provided a value for a required field in your inventory file template. I understand this can be frustrating, especially if you’ve spent time preparing your listing. Here’s what you need to know:

What causes Error 8058:

  • A required field in your inventory file template was left blank.
  • The processing report will show you the SKU number and the specific field that wasn’t filled out.

How to resolve Error 8058:

  1. Download the uploaded template and check the Feed Processing Summary tab.
  2. Identify the affected attributes in the processing report.
  3. Provide valid values in the specified fields.
  4. Resubmit the file with the corrected information.

To prevent this error in the future:

  • For flat file feeds, pay attention to fields in bold text at the top of the template - these are required.
  • Refer to the Data Definitions tab in the template to identify which fields are mandatory.
  • If you’re using XML feeds, check the relevant XSD to determine required values for listing creation.

If you’ve provided all the required details but still receive this error, please don’t hesitate to contact Selling Partner Support. Share the case ID here and I'll review to ensure it's being addressed properly.

Regards,

- Manny
