I have been trying for months to list a new product, my product has a GS1 barcode and brand name and logo.
I recently got my brand name approved on amazon.. when I try to list the approved brand name and add my GS1 barcode number I get the error message 'Brand Authorisation Required: The ability to create or edit ASINs using this brand name is restricted to authorised sellers. You need to apply for approval to add or modify products for this brand'
I have been trying list this product for months and running into all sorts of errors this being the latest!!

Look on the bright side your brand is protected, even from you :)
I believe you still need to apply to sell even though you own the brand, submit the requested picture/s and answer the questions as appropriate then within a few days you should get brand approval and be able to list under your brand.
