Countries
Read onlyFor some reason we are getting an invalid charge method on our account.
It seems to be fine for all countries except for Spain (Where we do not sell anyway) and means we cannot access the account.
Is there a way to fix this issue or is it a bug in the system?
you are not alone, I have been getting the same issue quite a bit recently and i have seen a couple of posts re this in the last week or so,
Mine was for Spain and Sweden, all the rest were fine with the same card, so no reason at all to be refused. Spain resolved itself, Sweden is still in limbo and support have been no use....
just waiting for it to resolve itself, it has to be a bug...
Hello! @Seller_d7cCASuC5d9hu
This is Roberto. Thank you for using the Forums, I have looked into your account, and I am no longer seeing the invalid charge method in your account.
There could be a number of reasons why a charge method is invalid in one marketplace but not the rest. Please, a list of reasons why a credit may be listed as invalid:
We verify your credit or debit card based on the following requirements. Violating one or more of the requirements below will result in your card being denied by Amazon.
If your card meets all the requirements above, but is still listed as invalid, we recommend that you try a different card or contact your financial institution for assistance. If you’ve tried at least two different credit or debit cards that meet the requirements above and all of them were denied, contact Selling Partner Support for assistance.
@Seller_gUYj0SBJs4MdK This may also answer your question. My card is valid in some Amazon stores, but not in others. Why?
Your financial institution may only allow your credit or debit card to be used in certain countries. As a result, you might see the same credit or debit card being honoured in some of our stores, but not in others. Contact your financial institution to determine the countries that your card is eligible to be used in.
