"Credit Card Invalid" but only on Amazon.es (Spain) and no explanation of why?
So I have one business bank account and one debit card that I use for amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.it, amazon.fr and amazon.es (Spain)
Yesterday I tried to go amazon.es and got a message saying:
"CREDIT CARD INVALID
You must update your existing credit card information or add a new credit card to regain full access to this seller account."
And a button to view credit card information.
The information is the normal information that is used across all 5 amazon marketplaces that I’ve sold on for years.
The card in question is not expiring until 2022
I have not changed addresses or anything.
There is no explanation of what triggered this or what is wrong. When I try to reenter the same details the account was temporarily restored only for them to say that they were invalid again and close access to it with the same message.
What should I do here? I don’t get it.

I have just answered a very similar post.
We used a barclays business debit card, it expired we renewed it but they would no longer accept it had to use a different card.
Amazon must have updated something in the last few months as there’s been a few posts on this.
Basically if you try adding another card from another provider if its a high Street bank its likely to work - once you add it go back after 10-15mins and it will have been highlighted again in red when you go into it if its not accepted.

Hi
My card (valid for other marketplaces) was also marked “invalid”
I receive explanation from my bank (Slovenia), that Spain is on “black list”, becouse of fraud problems from Spain ;(
So, maybe is the bank, that blocked card for Spain
