Uploading Images with the New Inventory Manager

I am a bookseller dealing in a good number of older and obscure titles. When Amazon has the item in its catalog, I list it here. Maybe this isn't the best place, but that's another issue. Many times there are no images for these types of items, so I have uploaded an image both for Amazon and for my item.

With the new inventory manager and its many problems, I only see the capability to upload an image for my particular listing and not Amazon's parent item. Am I not looking in the right place? Thanks for any help.

After you go to your edit page, you need to click on Suggest Changes to Product Page (or whatever it's called) at the top of the page. Then you get the regular edit pages. As usual, Amazon has improved its page by making it harder to use.

Good Evening @Seller_6DJnBooP8BZb7,

It looks like you were able to get an answer to your question from one of our seasoned sellers, @Seller_XSqPquQH4FvW1.

If their response helped you, feel free to mark it as “Most Helpful reply” using the 3 dots in the corner of their post. Just in case others have the same issue, the Most Helpful Reply feature brings the selected response right to the top of your thread. Sellers will be able to see the answer right away as your discussion will have a green checkmark when searched within the forums.

You can also still provide images to your ASINs through Seller Central > Catalog > Upload Images too if that is an easier route.

Please let us know if we can further assist you or you may always contact Selling Partner Support with inquiries at anytime. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

honestly, i wouldn't upload images for amazon's product page unless they are significantly different from the one you are selling. amazon owns abebooks and product images on amazon become stock images on abebooks (where i am guessing that you also sell) leading to everyone looking like they are selling your book.
