Update product listings with new Fix Recommendations tool

The Voice of Customer dashboard has a new Fix Recommendations tool that can improve your product listings and descriptions to help reduce returns.

The tool uses artificial intelligence to analyze customer feedback and offers strategic guidance on listing improvements, along with data that shows how these changes could impact customer satisfaction and return rates.

Customers dont product descriptions based on what we gather based on returns. They don't read product instructions either.

Additionally a lot of customers will not click on to "see more" about a product description or a seller's notes on product condition, description or any images that a seller may provide.

At the very least indicate/show that the item is listed as open box, used or collectible and the condition (e.g., Collectible- Like New, Used- Good Condition) and then a click below for see more for product details BEFORE adding to their cart. This will help reduce returns rather than getting returns for reason of bought new received used, inaccurate website or product description. Amazon and the consumer are very much at fault on these types of returns.

OMFG, how clueless can you be? AI gets trained on the data available to it, and you incentivize customers to lie about the issues with the products in order to get free 2-way shipping so they can try out items like they were in a department store. This data is going to be bad by DESIGN.

Plus, your performance with human-curated bots has been P-poor. To take your hands off the wheel is only going to result in more chaos in a "move fast and break things" environment.

That would be great (if we could actually fix listings).

We noticed a listings photos were changed from the electric motor they're supposed to show to a pair of pliers. So we tried to upload new photos through the editor, which of course won't allow us to submit the photos because "they show a different item" No big deal we'll just contact support because they can see the listing is wrong and fix the photos. After wasting time telling them repeatedly that the photos are wrong because the title says electric motor while the page shows a photo of pliers they tell us we need to be the brand owner to fix things or contact the brand owner except you can't. We're an authorized distributor, listed on their website as a place to buy, ect. The manufacturer and brand owner aren't on Amazon. Someone else registered the brand with Amazon years ago and Amazon doesn't release that information so the listing just stays wrong until it gets deactivated by Amazon and nobody can sell it.

Are we going to get a full update on Frequently returned badge at some point? Different items are being evaluated at different times leading to unfair advantages for certain companies.

How about stop PRICE FIXING item wrongfully price suppressing sales because you are getting faulty data copying WALMART! My price is not high and all it does is cost Amazon sales and customers just like we have one item sold since 2017 at 300 unit per year average at $35 magically last week price fixed to $11.99 same time Walmart had foreign seller list 5 units at $11.99 now no sales on Amazon good job!

We no longer deal with Amazon seller support bots who have never ever ever fixed anything as they are not capable of fixing issues just like we sell a brand where you changed brand name on about 100 items which now you want us to apply for a brand that does not exist and your response was copy and paste nonsense as it is clear you deceive customers! We also stopped purchasing items for our business on Amazon as we can not support a company that does not support us.

Are you saying that there's a new tool that, for the first time in over a decade, will allow sellers to make corrections to listings? If so, this would be the most significant change in years.

But we all know what this really is going to end up being: A tool to tell you what should be fixed, without giving you the option to fix it. That's all Voice of the Customer is, as it stands. You recommend changes but prevent us from changing things.

If you want to get around to letting sellers correct obviously wrong information on product pages, I'll look forward to that announcement.
