No Credit Card and business debit card not accepted
I’m wondering if anyone can help me as I feel like I’m going round in circles. Our account has been under verification now for over three weeks with Amazon. We have submitted several documents, immediately once asked and are still awaiting for it to be verified. We are seriously struggling, as we have done a large amount of sales and have staff and postage to pay for, with no payout, which is very stressful.
Today we have found out they have removed the debit card from the account and asked for a credit card. The account is in my husbands name and we don’t have a credit card, so we have tried a business debit card (we bank with metro bank so this is a Mastercard debit) and also a personal debit card which is a Visa Debit, both have stated are not accepted. These are not prepaid and all have valid funds so I’m unsure as to why they are not being accepted.
Can anyone advise please, as we really don’t want to have to apply for a credit card just to remain selling or to get a disbursement.

We had the same problem, as our co-op business debit card was not accepted & they do not issue credit cards on that account. I set up an account with another card supplier & was issued with a credit card which Amazon accepted. We’ve been selling on Amazon for over 15 years with no card problems so why the debit card was not acceptable I have no idea. Just another Amazon bot-driven rule, I suppose
