Amazon Prime badge missing for one child FBA product

Hello all,

Hope you are well. I have a query, that maybe someone can help with. We are new FBA sellers and just launched our second product about month and a half ago. We have one parent ASIN and two variation within. One of the child products is displaying the Prime badge, which is also the primary reason why we wanted to sell as FBA, but the other one is not displaying the badge. They are both in fulfilment centres and shipments are closed. They both had the prime badge at the beginning, but then one of them disappeared. Now when you search for the product that isn’t showing as prime, it shows on Amazon page with no price and no option to buy, so we are losing customers. We are priced lower than most of other sellers with similar products.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there something we can do? Obviously most customers only buy products that are prime, if the products doesn’t even display the price, we will not sell our inventory.

Thank you for all advice.

If you are willing to share the ASIN then other sellers can look and see what is happening.

It does sound though like you don’t have an active FBA listing for that child SKU. Does the listing show as active in your inventory, do you have any stranded inventory?

It doesn’t make sense that other products just like ours, have the prime badge and are priced considerably higher. Makes you question the whole FBA system, why should we be selling at a loss when others are making good money, how is that fair? We chose FBA because we wanted to offer the products as Prime, it’s infuriating to be dealing with this when others don’t have to.

From your personal experience/ view, what would you do in our situation? We really appreciate the help, thank you.
