Can't Sign up for FBA

Hi folks,

I’m having trouble signing up for FBA and I’m also having trouble getting help for the problem.

The error message I get when I try to sign up is “We are unable to complete your registration for Fulfilment by Amazon online at this time. Please contact us to continue the registration process. We apologise for any inconvenience. (FBA-SSR-10002)”

I have opened help cases for it, but they are now marked as ‘Transferred’ and nothing is happening with them.

So, my questions are; Have any of you seen this message before and if you have, how did you fix it? Is there a dedicated FBA help e-mail address or something that I can go directly to?

You will likely just have to wait for the relevant team to investigate. There is an old forum post that suggests it could be related to the country you are signing up from, but I expect there are other reasons too.

Yes, this error code is often related to seller registration and location.
Check account details and if VAT number is uploaded and valid (Required if storing goods in the UK for non residents.)

Apologies for the delay in responding.

I’m a UK based seller, so I don’t think it’s a location based thing. I sell the same item using FBS, my account metrics are all fine and I am not required to be VAT registered.

Is there a dedicated FBA e-mail address that I can use to contact them, rather than the abyss of the online help system?

Issue solved within 2 days
Raised it with Seller support in detail via Email and thats what I got from them: -

Our technical team has reviewed the issue and updated us the following;

Seller needs to register a primary business address here: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/sw/AccountInfo/BusinessAddress/step/BusinessAddress

Current list of valid countries: AR, AT, AU, BE, CA, CH, CN, DE, ES, FR, GB, GG, HK, IE, IT, IN, JP, LI, LU, NL, NZ, PH, PL, PT, SG, TW, US, BR, CL, DK, JE, MX, SE, KR, IL, JO, ID, VN, MY, AE, QA, KH, KW, BG, CZ, HU, LV, CY, FI, SK, TH, NO, LT, IM, IS, PR, RO, PF, GP, RE, MQ, YT, NC, GF, MU, ZA, GR, HR, EE, GE, TR, SI

Once the primary business address has been updated, you’ll be able to convert the listings to FBA after 24 hours.
