How to apply for GTIN Exemption on branded variations

I am struggling listing an item which has 5 variations. (I am stuck on the variation screen as pictured below)

I believe I need to apply for a GTIN exemption, as this is a branded product.

I do not have a trademark registered, and so I am not able to go through the brand registry process.

Does anyone have any ideas please or suggestions on how i can go about this? Am I able to apply to sell the brand if its not registered?

Thanks

I would recommend creating the products first on Amazon. This will give you the ASIN to use in Variation Relationship creation AND determine if a GTIN Exemption is required.

Overall though if the Brand uses GTINs then you must use them

If this is your own brand then the brand must get registered with Amazon (not the same as Brand registration) at which time you should be able to state it has/has no GTIN.
