Hi
I have received two emails from Amazon they are entitled…
'Recent changes to your Small and Light enrolment
Hello,
You’re receiving this email because you’ve either made changes to SKUs for your FBA Small and Light products or you have at-risk products that violate the programme criteria.
You can view a report of the affected SKUs from the following link:’
The link pulls up a spreadsheet that has some items/skus and Amazon are saying they are no longer Small and Light
The first I received a couple of days ago I put down to ‘Amazon finger trouble’ and I have asked Amazon to review the product
Today I’ve received a second email and the link to the Excel file details three products. There are three tabs ‘Enrolled’ ‘Disenrolled’ and ‘At Risk’ All three products are listed ‘Disenrolled’
My question is - Does anyone know why?? These products are definitely Small and Light, for example two of the ASIN’s are B09PJTV2CF B09PJTFFSC - They are single dowels in a bag on an A4 piece of card and weigh perhaps 10-20 grams
I have no explanation of why they have been disenrolled, and no idea of any appeal or correction process.
Any advice if anyone has faced this problem would be appreciated
We’ve been having these emails too every time we enrol something into S&L but when I open the file & look at the ‘at risk’ section… there’s nothing there…
I’ve just been working through these, the measurements shown are not mine. for example on SKU B09PJV6Y5F we didn’t enter any shipping size / weight. Amazon knocked it out of S&L. I have asked them to remeasure (which they have done) and now it is back in S&L with the dimensions
Package Dimensions|29.59 x 22.1 x 1.8 cm
Package Weight|0.07 kg
FBA Fulfilment Fees|1.87 GBP
But If I edit the listing it doesn’t show any Package Size / Weight. I think Amazon has the weights in the background, and measures all new products as they come into the warehouse for the first time. ,
At least I have a fix even if I don’t fully understand where we are going wrong
I think I’m getting the gist of this, albeit based on only my three examples
Amazon measures new products for size and weight on entry into their warehouse.
It may be advantageous to have set the dimensions of those products to S&L so that when you switch them to FBA it offers the ‘do you want S&L’ option
At some point Amazon say ’ This product is not S&L’ with a set of spurious measurements, I’m guessing they have for example weighed the box of 20 rather than the item, or they are just wrong.
You can then request a remeasurement. That worked for me, if I check using the remeasure tool the size and weight are now correct and, importantly, the shipment cost has dropped to £1.71. Note the package size and weight on the listing are still ‘unfilled’ / blank
Or you can update the package size and weight to be back in S&L guidelines on the listing itself. I have just done that and it has put the product back into S&L when I check the SKU in the ‘Remeasurement’ tool. (within an hour)
Certainly I wouldn’t ignore the list if anything is in the Disenrollment tab
Read it again with my highlight though “because you’ve either made changes to SKUs for your FBA Small and Light products or you have at-risk products that violate the programme criteria”
I misread my emails the first time. It’s the new way they confirm enrollment…or at the same time a problem
