Remove Units from Amazon Warehouse because QR Codes on the Package is not scannable!
Recently I shipped 300 units to the Amazon warehouse. Amazon asked me to create “Removal Unfulfillable Inventory” for almost 160 units because the QR codes on the back of the package are not scannable!!
QR codes created on the back of the package are indicating product website, instagram and customer service email address and nothing to do with Amazon!! FNSKU code is clearly scannable and nothing wrong with them.
I contacted Amazon several times to find out why they need to scan QR codes, but they have not responded to me at all and the only thing they say is not scannable!! However, I have some of the packages at my home and all QR codes are scannable for sure!! even my supplier checked them all before packaging and scan all codes with different mobile phones several several times to make sure everything is fine!
I dont know 1st. Why Amazon scan those QR codes?? and 2nd. All of them are scannable and work fine!! 3rd. How can I make Amazon understand this ?? I contacted them more than 10 times and in different ways but every time they say same thing that I need to remove them.
I so appreciate it if someone could help and advise me please.

Are they thinking they are transparency codes and trying to scan them as such?

Not the answer that you want to hear i’m sure however you’re probably fighting a losing battle. Just create a removal order for the units they’ve asked and send them back in on a new shipment ensuring that the FNSKU label is clear. Are you able to put the units into grey bags for example and put the FNSKU label on the outside? That way AMZ won’t even see your QR code (may not be possible, just a suggestion).

Answer seems simple, scanable of not if there is an FNSKU barcode on the package there can be no other visible barcode/QR code on the item.If there is it needs to be covered, this has always been a requirement.

Are you sure you are allowed to put that information on there? It’s a nice touch doing it with a QR code but I’m sure somewhere it is against Amazon’s rules ie publicising the website and contact email.
