I am having hard time facing Amazon Seller Support. I have been selling on Amazon since 2016. I recently received a request to provide confirmation of my business details. As I had done previously I had provided an invoice from my bank for running my business account. After that I received information as follows:
We reviewed your account and the information that you provided, and we have decided that you may not open a Selling on Amazon account.
We leveraged a combination of automated means and expert human review to identify this issue and make this decision.
Why is this happening?
You cannot sell on as Russia is currently not a supported country for seller registration. For this reason, we are unable to proceed with your application. We are continually working on expanding the support we provide to our sellers.
Neither me nor my business are based in Russia so I don't know how this was assessed (both business and myself are based in the UK). I do travel a lot for my main job and I have been previously visiting multiple countries including Russia but only for brief periods of time. I have contacted both Health Account Specialist who told me that this is a mistake but I keep getting automated email saying account could not be opened. I provided my UK business bank statement, invoices, confirmation of incorporation, my personal bills and passport but I keep getting the email that verification failed. I don't know what to do and who to contact as I keep getting automated emails saying the account cannot be opened as you are in Russia which is not correct. Has anyone had similar experience and how did they handle it?
