FBA Customer addresses and customer name incomplete
Hello
As an Amazon FBA Seller I noticed today that my customer order details are now incomplete.
Looking at the Amazon FBA orders recently received I note that we are now only seeing a partial customer delivery address instead of the usual full delivery address and also that the customer name is not fully showing.

I have reviewed a few dozen orders going back several weeks now and it appears this issue affects all recent and historical orders. I presume there has been a recent change in policy and no doubt there will be aclaim that it is to protect buyers under the Data Protection Act.
I dread asking the question of Seller Support as I do not have the energy to ask the question half a dozen times and receive random unhelpful cut and past pieces of irrelevant policy.
Is anybody aware of a recent change that may have caused this. Can they point me towards any announcement or policy that informed on this change?
As we are the seller and the customer is our customer, FBA or not, then I am curious why we the seller cannot see our customers details in full. We are routinely contacted to provide invoices for some FBA orders. How can we produce an invoice for an a customer with no name or full delivery address?
Any assistance appreciated.
Thank you.

Recently, there were multiple sellers reporting this happening. While I am still seeing the full addresses when reviewing my orders, I can see a banner on the Order Details page saying:
”In order to further protect our customers’ personal information, this page will not display the buyer’s name.”
Here you can check one of the threads where the issue was discussed:
