Read onlyI have had an email telling me I have got a mismatch between my address on Amazon and my address on the German VAT system.
They told me this 3 years ago and I changed the address to exactly match.
Now they are telling me again. It does match and I have sent an email from the German authorities and a screenshot from Amazon showing this.
However, whenever I write to the Amazon appeals address, in true Amazon style, they just keep sending me the email back saying there is a mismatch.
I wrote and asked them to simply explain to me why they think there is an issue and they just sent the same email back.
Has anyone managed to get this situation resolved?

I got same problem too.my address on German VAT is correct (I check the vat registration letter on Germany ). However from the vat settings the address appears under VAT number. that address is not correct. So this problem comes from Amazon side

Hi both, have the same, Amazon are matching to VIES, which usually doesnt show an address, is incomplete or as in our case for Italy it states 'not an address in Italy'
So Amazon new wonderful system is matching to VIES which is usually blank, incomplete or similar to above
