About to lose £30,000 of inventory due to Amazon using incorrect ASIN image

Amazon is using incorrect main images for my King’s Coronation flag bunting variation listed below.

The attached screenshot (of one of the 12 variations) shows that my images have been successfully uploaded to SellerCentral. However, Amazon is using the image of just one ASIN for ALL the ‘Live on Amazon’ main images. This variation is a different colour/style from the other ASINs. Consequently, my customers are either not ordering due to not being able to view the variations or are receiving a different product from what they have ordered.

I have contacted Amazon support multiple times every single day for the past few weeks. They either respond by saying I am not the winning contributor (even though I am the only seller and selling this via my Brand Registry registered trademark, or they tell me the listing images will be updated in 48 hours. I then wait 48 hours and nothing happens. I then repeat the above process.

I have £30,000 of inventory in Amazon FBA, especially for the King’s Coronation on 6th May. As it stands I am going to lose all of it, because Amazon will not display the correct image on the correct ASIN.

What more can I do, or do I just accept that I have lost £30,000?

Looking at the listing, I see the following if I look on my phone:

Charles 1 is like the bottom picture you circled
All the other variations are just the union jack with the logo on

None are rectangular as your listing says and as per the reviews

On the web, all variations show one as the union jack and one white with the logo on

Have you actually put the images on each ASIN for the variations?
Or do you just have them on the main ASIN itself?
If so, that will be why it’s showing in the way it is.

The images are on each of the individual 12 ASINs. The above screenshot of one of the ASINs even shows that the images have been successfully uploaded yet Amazon is choosing to use an alternative ASIN image for some unkown reason.

The ASINs have been created using inventory file uploads. All images are correct on the child ASINs in SellerCentral. The parent and children have been deleted and readded numerous times over the past few weeks. Nothing changes and on each of the 43 times I have called Amazon, they simply tell me that they have passed the case on to another team who will resolve the issue.

I have now received the most ridiculous response from Amazon below. The main part is in red where Amazon are saying they believe using the wrong image for each product is the better option. Amazon will therefore not change the images of the other ASINs and insist on using the incorrect image for each product.

As per their latter suggestion, I tried removing the parent from the child ASINs so that I had 12 standalone ASINs but that also didn’t make any difference. I therefore have all ASINs showing an incorrect product image, for example, the rectangle King Charles ASIN here which shows an alternative triangle style: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0C1GKHB5B/

I now have no option other than to accept I have lost £30,000 of stock that will now not sell as I am unable to show the buyer the product they are buying.

Does anybody have any final suggestions on how I can salvage this within the next few days? If not, do I have any option to take legal action against Amazon for sabotaging my product listing and causing the financial damage they have done to my business?
