Seller Identity Verification 10 days to respond
RE:[CASE 16077731861] Seller Identity Verification
Hi I am relatively new to selling on amazon we recently set up fba account and have not listed any products for sell as yet. A few days ago i got an email stating that our account has been temporally put in an inactive status as mentioned in email below
We have temporarily placed your selling account in an inactive status. While inactive, your listings will remain active and your disbursements will continue as scheduled. However, you are temporarily unable to make updates to your listings or account settings. This action does not impact your Account Health.
Why did this happen? We have taken this action due to an extended period of inactivity on your account. To protect your business, we have restricted changes to your account until we can verify your identity.
How do I verify my identity and reactivate my account? To verify your identity and reactivate your selling account, complete the credit card verification process. To complete the verification process: It may take up to 48 hours for updates to your credit card information to reflect on your seller account. Once the information is updated, your account will be reactivated and any restrictions will be removed.
I clicked the link then noticed the the credit card details were correct so i did not make any changes simply clicked ok and completed the verification
Then we got another email few days later with below message in part
You're receiving this email because you recently applied to sell on Amazon or you recently reactivated your seller account. . Before you can start or resume Selling on Amazon, we ask that you go through a document verification and review process. Any existing listings for your account will be suspended while the review is in progress.
I followed the link, then noticed as well that all information available address, name etc were correct so simply clicked ok with out uploading any other documents
2 days i go i got another email stating that i have 10 days to submit documents for verification if not the account would be put on hold or deactivated, below is part of the email
We have reviewed the documents that you provided, but we could not verify your identity based on the submitted documents. As a result, your account will remain inactive.
Why is this happening? We were unable to verify the document that you provided as a proof of identity.
How do I resolve this situation? Within 10 days of receiving this email notification, upload a scanned copy of another government-issued photo identity document to Seller Central, along with all other required documents listed on the "Identity Verification" page.
Make sure that you include also the documents that we already verified.
What happens if I do not upload the required documents? If you do not provide the required information within 10 days of receiving this email notification, disbursements for your Amazon selling account may be put on hold or your account might be deactivated.
We're here to help

If you want to proceed with Amazon, give them what they are asking for and only what they are asking for. It says a different ID, so do not use what you used originally. Also, is the credit card you are using a valid credit card and not a debit card?
