I have had a book which was lost in the post.

I have had to refund the customer.

I have contacted Evri, the shipper, for a refund.

Because I have bought the shipping through Amazon, I have to contact Amazon for a refund.

"I can see that you purchased the shipping label for this parcel via Amazon. While your parcel was sent using the Evri network, Amazon are regarded as the carrier in this situation as they provided you with the shipping label. This means that any claims for parcels which have become lost, damaged or delivered late will need to go directly to them so they can discuss the appropriate next steps with you.

In turn, Amazon will get in touch with us on your behalf to discuss the matter."

I can't see how I can contact Amazon. Can anyone help?

Unfortunately this is one of those situations where Evri will say contact Amazon, and Amazon will say you used EVRI !!

Can an admin clear this up once and for all.

as the invoice on a seller's account is billed from Evri (Grattan)

so as sellers are we a customer of Evri or Amazon in this regard

For this kind of claims, you need to follow these steps:

For an item that has become lost during transit.

You are to contact Evri via Evri Holly Chatbot to raise a claim for an order that was lost during transit and purchased through Amazon Buy Shipping by Evri.

  1. You must state that you would like to raise a claim for an order purchased through Amazon Buy Shipping.
  2. You must provide your Evri tracking number and a brief description of your enquiry.
  3. Evri will launch an investigation and respond within 24 hours.
  4. Upon completion of the investigation, in the event that it has been deemed lost, Evri will issue a lost claim form.
  5. You have to provide a copy of your proof of purchase label in order to process the claim. Evri will also request your email address to issue the claims form and bank details in order to process the refund.
  6. Upon receipt of the lost claim form, Evri will aim to process the refund within 28 days of receipt.

Make sure you are providing all the required information on your claim and to contact them as mentioned above.
