Can you stop a customer from messaging you

good morning

customer received a damaged item no fault of ours but the delivery drivers he was telling me he wanted a refund and was going to put the item in the bin our wholesaler wants the item back as the 1 image he sent was unclear where the damage was etc we have shipped many of these and never had a issue with any damage it took him 3 days to return the item which we paid for as he refused to work with us and open his front door and hand the parcel over or print the returns label off we have said to him like it states on the a -z he opened twice after 1 got denied wait for the item back before you refund the buyer he has told us he will send back a empty box so far we are at 31 message from this customer and still getting them there very rude abusive and more can I block his messages ? I have reported him to amazon but nothing seems to get done

Tell him that you have reported him to Amazon, and that further to that you will make a “Malicious communications” complaint to the Police if he does not stop, as this behaviour is unlawful.

If he has put the ‘‘empty box’’ , threat in writing , keep it as evidence .

As far as 31 messages is concerned , remember to state the period it covers if you are taking this further .
31 messages in 31 years might not be considered excessive . :thinking: So timescale is important .

You can create a mailbox with the email address or divert them automatically to junk, then you needn’t look at them if you don’t want to.

There is no way how to block buyer messages but you can report them and mark as “No response needed”.

If an A-Z claim is open, respond by explaining, that the item which you shipped was exactly as described in the listing and as it was returned in a materially different condition than sent, you will not refund and the buyer needs to provide you a pre-paid return label.

This will most likely result in an Amazon Funded refund.

Thanks for all your help with this I am adding to the case today and I have the ty rep coming in store today to take a order and he wants to see the item so once he has been I will also upload what he has said he will also take images of the damage and will take the item with him for inspection to there quality control department when talking to the rep on the phone even he is surprised it can get damaged in transit and asked for the image of the packaging but buyer refuses to give a image of the package where the damage was again thanks for your help
