Error on entering dimensions/weight on FBA shipment

Morning All,

When creating a shipment using the Send to Amazon shipment creation workflow, I am hitting an error when entering the package weight and dimensions. (Step 1B)

The warning about not meeting their expected weight pops up, but then a red error message appears

" Error:
Something has gone wrong. Try refreshing the page. If that does not work, please delete the workflow and create a new one"

Tried clearing cache and tried different SKU’s and it’s doing the same everytime.

Anyone seen this before, or is anyone else experiencing this ?

Regards

Are you all using the new Shipment Creation tool/view or the old one? I used to get this constantly when it switched me to the new one but you can revert to the old one and it should allow you to bypass the warnings as usual. I literally made one just a second ago and had the same thing happen so you should hopefully still be able to bypass

its usually when your dimensions on the product page don’t match the dimensions and weight on the shipment
it should still let you proceed though

Hello there,
Yes, I have and now the deadlines finished for sending today so pretty annoyed and can’t work out why this keeps happening. Anyone else getting this message and if so is there any way round it or is it a glitch with Amazon?
Regards
Louise

I’ve had the same issue this morning. I was entering some boxes 60 x 60 x 34 and it was throwing this same error, I just tried it again as 63 x 63 x 63 and it isn’t throwing the error so it is looking like Amazon are no longer allowing you to override the warning about box volume etc. which is daft as I have to override it every single box that we inbound as their calculations are never correct for what’s in the box!

Thanks VigoPresses

Switched back to the old creation tool and it worked perfect !!
I’ve never used the old method before, but it was all straightforward, just looked a bit old school!

This happened soon after the new shipment creation tool was launched. If Amazon thought that whatever you were sending wouldn’t fit into the carton size you’d specified, it wouldn’t let you proceed.

They seemed to fix it so that you could acknowledge the “error” and proceed anyway but the last time I tried to send in with the new shipment page a few days ago, I ran into the same error and had to revert to the old shipment page which takes much longer.

I hope they get this sorted again soon.
