Amazon bots gone crazy vetting images
So I have a product I have listed now for several years and today get an email from Amazon to say the listing has been quarantined.
I check the product in my inventory. Says ‘search suppressed’ beside it so I click ‘Edit’ to see what is wrong. Nothing - no boxes in red. Nothing giving me any indication of reason it has been quarantined.
So I now click the actual ‘search suppressed’ and get told ‘picture is using a mannequin which is not allowed for this type of product’. The only trouble is that the picture is NOT using a mannequin. Even if it was, why does the image problem not show up when you Edit the product under the Images tab?
Its honestly getting to the point that these bots have gone so crazy unlisting products for the most spurious reasons that I could spend all day every day trying to find the reason why, that for many products I just give up and dont bother… If Amazon do not want me to sell it I will find an alternative.

There has been a marked increase in “image issues” from bots in recent weeks. We get loads of them and are constantly having to faff about with images, rotations, drop shadows, persepctives. I’d wondered if it’s some new software program because, like you, products which have been on sale for ages have suddenly become suppressed.
