Read onlyAmazon deactivated account because observed policy violations. They have taken this measure because observed that me or someone acting on your behalf has requested changes to add a brand name that we do not own or have access to for a product they have deemed to be a generic product..
We are selling on Amazon USA 2 years, after we expand bussines we decided to try to sell on Amazon AU. Registered global selling account, hardly but pass SIV ( support just ignored all the legal docs and didn’t let us update it for about 2 weeks: was so happy to finally get it approved ) but in 7 hours got account deactivated.
Since then nightmare started:
We revived about 15 rejections and same response:
We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your account at this time. To reactivate your account, please send the following-- How your account has not violated the Seller Code of Conduct policies.-- Evidence that shows your account complies with the Seller Code of Conduct policies.
We called to customer support to clarify what was exactly the reason and got 4 different resolutions.
One of the first is the the reason that we have created multiple cases ( we did a knowledge it and explained each case and it was made because of lack of resolutions).
One more was : provide brand register docs and no other way, only trademark : Amazon is forcing us to register a trademark but that is must be BO decision , not all bussines starts with trade mark registration plus that prices that takes 6-9 months.
One of the last was : that only way to get account reinstated is that to show to Amazon it’s was made by error.
The next after : no Amazon didn’t deactivated by error but deactivated because we requested changes.
First of all, request changes - what is the way to request changes ? We did create Asin as already existed on Amazon USA , that been approved to sold globally. BIL didn’t synchronized out asins and we had to create them manually, according Amazon listing policy creation, got error ,asked for exemption , then catalogue authorization and that is it.
Our brand was never enrolled and we we were selling unregistered trading mark, at the same time items can’t be deemed as generic as it has label on it. In this case Amazon contradicts saying that generic is not labeled goods , but they deemed our goods as generic( if they did)..
We did apply about 15 appeals with different information after each time we got new request.
Anyone faced that problem? And if there is any chance to solve it as we feel everything we did doesn’t make sense.
