Will my account get deactivated straight away if 1%ODR
I’m current have .5% ODR and have just received another A-Z claim would this result in 1% and wll my account deactivate straight away?
I am happy to give the customer the refund. From the original message I thought the customer would like a replacement and to check wheres the parcel. As it was the weekend I informed the customer that I will investigate the situation on Monday as Royal mail will operate at that time. If the item is lost will send her the replacement straightaway. As the item is out of the stock so I inform the customer straightway that it will be back in stock on 25.03.2021 ( which is in 4 days) and I will send the item to her straight away with 1 day delivery.
If she would like a refund she will just let me know and I will refund her straightaway. I really don’t want A-Z claim. I feel like I have been trying to resolve the issues. I was just misunderstanding the customers as she didn’t mention refunding just replacement. As the title of her message is " Requesting replacement "
The order was lost by Royal Mail so I couldn’t do anything about it.

No, it’s very unlikely you will get an immediate suspension. However I am assuming there are no other issues on your account.
The best you can do, to reduce the effects of any claims, negative feedbacks etc is to sell more, this then dilutes the effects on your account.
Try to add 5 products or so, that are cheap high volume selling items.
Whilst of course continuing to offer great CS etc.

I have had a similar experience before. With me Amazon just wrote a message stating that my ODR was above 1% and for me to look at the negative feedback, A-Z Claims and chargebacks that has caused this. I was allowed to continue to sell on Amazon and after a while my ODR went down to normal.
It is not hard to get your ODR above 1% especially if you have low sales volume. All it takes is a couple of issues with delivery outside your control.
Whilst people do get deactivated for an ODR over 1% I think it is unlikely you will if everything else is okay. As @MonkeyBoy says just try to mitigate the effects and carry on offering a good customer experience.
Hope it works out okay.
