Problems signing in to a different account
Hi,
Last year I set up an account to sell my self published books. Around March I couldn’t sign in. I wasn’t really selling anything so it wasn’t really a problem, but as the weeks went on I couldn’t sign in and I really needed to. I tried resetting the password and contacted my the ‘account manager’ but he hasn’t been able to help. Now every time I try to sign in it says that there is no account associated with my email address, which is clearly not the case because I still receive emails about the account to that email. I have now also have a book order that I can’t fulfil because I can’t sign in to see who ordered and where to send it! The whole thing is a total mess and I desperately need help to sign in and close the account as I now have this account. Can someone advise please. Literally tearing my hair out!
Thanks in advance.
Kate

Double check the email and passwords for both accounts as you may have mixed them up.
If not, it’s possible Amazon have picked up on your second account (as they will be linked) which is against their rules, unless permission has been given. If that’s the case both accounts may have been suspended.

It’s a long shot but, is there a buyer account related to that first selling account? If there is you could try contacting CUSTOMER support and changing your password through them which may then change it on your seller account also. This is what I had to do when my OTP was being sent to a telephone number I no longer had.

Wonder if it’s worth saying you think your account has been hacked (it is possible?), that you think they have changed the primary email address linked to the account but the order notifications email hasn’t been changed hence you getting the emails for orders. I would imagine they have a process for an account being hacked and details being changed?

Thanks so much for all your advice everyone. I’ve emailed the managing director - really hoping that this helps to make some progress.
