Amazon taken buy box on my own label brand

I currently sell on Amazon FBA and this morning all of my products are now being sold by Amazon as well as my FBA offer. As a result I have lost the buy box and all my ads have been paused.

I have not sent any products to Amazon Vendor, all my products are private labelled and I am brand registered.

Amazon are offering my best selling product 25% cheaper than I am. I don’t understand how they can do this as I have never sold any of my stock to Amazon or anyone else. As I am the brand owner I am the only vendor who can sell this product.

As a result I have not made any sales today which has never happened before.

Any idea what is going on?

Once Amazon get a sale they will purchase the product from you - they seem happy to take a loss with this sort of behaviour I believe!!

Have you registered this brand on Amazon?

For Amazon to be supplying it , it would have to either be Amazon buying direct or another supplier using their Vendor Account, A competitor can supply product fairly easily using Amazon Vendor Express it’s not difficult.

If it is listed under Amazon World Imports this is different and is typically Amazon exporting your products based upon your retail price , but at a higher price.

I would suggest emailing Seller Performance policy department ASAP to get some clarification seller-performance-policy@amazon.co.uk

It could be your lost or warehouse damaged inventory, for which you were reimbursed.

Sounds like Amazon are selling your lost or damaged stock. Have checked whether it’s Amazon warehouse selling the item?

Only if it’s listed under Amazon Warehouse deals , unlikely given the OP’s “all of my products are now being sold by Amazon as well as my FBA offer”

We had the same issue with our account, we purchase products from a German manufacturer but have them branded with our own registered brand name. After the products started to sell really well Amazon started selling them on our listings at a much cheaper price than us. We contacted Amazon seller support and provided them with our registered brand name, they advised us to Include the Trademark Logo beside our brand name on all of our listings with our brand name and once done any other sellers selling on those listings would be removed, including Amazon. We done exactly as advised and truth to their word within 1 week all our listings were back to only being sold by us. We do not sell our products to other retailers so when another seller tries to sell our our listing we send them a message advising them that we have not provided them with the right to sell our branded product therefor they must only be selling an unbranded product which is not allowed on Amazon and they then remove themselves from our listing or Amazon removes them for us as we also advise Amazon every time this happens.

The main issue here is clearly the manufacturer of the product is willing to supply other vendors , if you have branded their product under your own brand registry they are still the manufacturer and without exclusive rights or guarantees to sell their product they are open to sell to anyone , especially if you created a profitable opportunity for them to cut you out.

Anyone can brand someone elses product but without exclusivity or being the manufacturer and brand owner you have very little control, if you have an agreement with the manufacturer or someone is copying your intellectual property rights you have rights to stop it.

If you make the item, then it is your brand, so the items Amazon sell might be fake. I wonder if Amazon are going to suspended themselves for selling counterfeit goods.

Every time someone orders one from you, order it from Amazon.

Think about it.
