FBM How to put my warehouses picking location number on items and to have it show up on invoice
I need item picking location so employee can find items in the Wearhouse. We use item # which tells the location of items in the warehouse. we where putting item # in the product description but amazon started deleting them. We are FBM and use our own warehouse.

This does not belong in description, so Amazon is right to remove it.
Many people use the sku field for information like this. For example, your sku might be 01-03-11-458, meaning aisle 1, shelf 3, bin 11, item 458. Or for me, selling only books, it’s easier; just 3456, and books are placed sequentially on the shelves. Obviously, the appropriate scheme will be different for each seller, but there is a good chance you can work out something.
Only downside is that a sku can be used only once. So if you sell out of an item, and put a new item in its place, the sku will have to be different.
It just dawned on me that the sku doesn’t show up on the invoice; I’m not sure if it’s possible to make it show, or to get a pick-list that shows it. So my post may not be helpful. Sorry, no other suggestion.

@Picks_by_Nisha The SKU shows on the Amazon packing slip.
I could see it being a pain to delete all SKUs and assign new SKUs that include the location. It can be just download a file, make the changes and upload.
There are many third-party solutions that assist managing inventory that also track storage locations. Many can be used to print packing slips.
