account deactivated for being associated with another account
Our account was deactivated because Amazon says we are associated with another account. I did allow my son to sell a few products that we produced to test sales and had him set up a store for us with all of our corporate information which is totally different than his account. He violated policies on his personal account and Amazon shut it down. They shut ours down because we were associated with that account. Since he was acting as a contract employee I created a termination letter and sent it to my son, also had him create a PDF document explaining our relationship and created a timeline of the chain of events. No where is his information on our store, nor is he part of our store but Amazon wants more proof. I don't know what to send them, we are not part of his store in any way. I never had access to his account nor was I ever on his account. Any ideas what I could do.

Hello @Seller_G0hpv38vLClUZ,
Thank you for posting your concerns with a multiple account policy violation.
You mentioned providing some documentation to validate a separation since you son was being contracted to work on your account. Even if we accepted the separation from your son and your store. You are still associated to your son, and their account as their father. Due to the nature of the association being with your son, proof separation may not be sufficient information to confirm this individual has no association with you or your business.
If this is the situation, we will require that your sons account first be reinstated. This will resolve the original deactivation reasons of being associated to a deactivated store. Once resolved, you can submit an acknowledgement that the associated store has been reactivated. If this account cannot be reinstated, and the documentation available does not meet our requirements, the account will remain deactivated as these are the only two paths forward.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.
