Association and fake orders

Hello esteemed team and sellers,

My account has been closed due to an error that has lasted for a year. My son logged into his Amazon account using my computer, which resulted in my account being associated with his multiple times, leading to its closure.

Additionally, a competitor in Saudi Arabia has negatively impacted my Amazon account by placing fake orders and even resorted to profanity in the chat box. Currently, my loss exceeds $1,700. I kindly request that you find a solution to this issue. Please do not leave the resolution solely to the discretion of a single company representative. I strongly urge you to contact me.

Thank you

No one will contact you. The solution was presented to you when the association was detected, hence the deactivation.

Hello @Seller_W4BOE8ZB52pKE,

Thank you for posting a few different situations surrounding your account.

My account has been closed due to an error that has lasted for a year. My son logged into his Amazon account using my computer, which resulted in my account being associated with his multiple times, leading to its closure.

This was not an error, when your son logged into his account using your device, it established a connection between the two stores. The deactivation of your account for this issue would imply that your sons account was already deactivated. This situation will only be resolved by ensuring that your son has reactivated their account. This will resolve the multiple account policy violation and make your account eligible for reactivation from this situation.

If you need support with the reactivation of your sons account, you are welcome to post their accounts deactivation notice here so we can offer further support on this situation.

When it comes to reporting this scenario, you will need to submit a report of abuse. You can find this form in the account health page in the top left of the screen. This will ensure any information or related situations reach the appropriate teams related to your situation. This situation as described, you should use the options "An abusive message was sent by a buyer " > "Another seller account is attempting to harm my business".

Hello @Seller_W4BOE8ZB52pKE,

Thank you for following up with this additional information.

what is the relationship between my account and my son's account? Why am I being harmed because of him? The notification above belongs to my son, and as his father, why can't I open my own Amazon account due to his mistakes? I have proven our identities multiple times, but the association has not been removed. I am his father and a free citizen; shouldn't I have my own Amazon account? Why does my son’s mistake affect me?

My son logged into his Amazon account using my computer, which resulted in my account being associated with his

As you noted in your original post, your son logged into his account using your device. This established a personal connection with your sons account. Due to this we have correctly identified a serious concern, as it shows he had access to your device. With his account deactivated, this causes a violation of our code of conduct - multiple accounts policy.

  • You may only maintain one Seller Central account for each region in which you sell unless you have a legitimate business need to open a second account and all of your accounts are in good standing. If any of your accounts are not in good standing, we may deactivate all of your selling accounts until all accounts are in good standing.

Since this was correctly identified an this was not due to a business association, contracts and other documents may not exist to show a separation. Since we only provide two paths to reactivation as mentioned previously. Documents, or ensure the associated store is reinstated.

We received your submission. Upon review of your account, we confirmed that your Amazon seller account has been used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity that harms our customers, other selling partners, and our store. As a result, your account and your selling privileges will not be reactivated.

This conduct violates the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement accessible here:

Your Amazon seller account will remain deactivated to prevent harm to our customers, other selling partners, and our store. We will not consider your submission if your request does not provide evidence that you will no longer pose a risk.

This is a rejection notification, this is also a final notice and typically associated with a final decision. These situations are associated to an identity and supply chain verification. This situation requires that your son provides invoices for all ASIN in their manage inventory at the time of deactivation, this includes ASIN that have not sold. If these ASINs are associated to brands, we will require a letter of authorization for the listed brands.

We will also require that they provide a government issued ID including both sides in color, a valid utility bill, some situations will require a bank statement but I would ask that you refer to the original deactivation notice from his account. These documents will all need to reference his physical address and match 100% on how it's listed in the account. This include shorten words like st for street, or other types of abbreviations.

Although I cannot guarantee their account will be eligible for reactivation, if you can provide enough supporting evidence that verifies compliance with our policies, he may be eligible for reactivation. I would suggest communicating with your son on the situation to understand what exactly happened.
