Arranging a parcel collection from somebody " with no printer "
I need to retrieve a 5 to 10KG parcel from someone. I have made every effort to assist.
It was my personal item, well cared for, tested, carefully packaged outbound, all the rest. Lockdown is over and I guess it’s not needed anymore …
I’m just being messed about. They " don’t have a printer ", can’t leave the house, thrown away things, all the usual evasive stuff.
After the time and effort invested, I am just going to somehow arrange the item gets back to me, simply because I have been purposely messed about, and I am a " can do ", solution finding sort of person. …
I’m left with a few options.
- Book a courier company who will work with handwritten labels.
- Organise a courier for some point in the future, print a label my end, post it to them ( with sellotape … sigh ).
- Send a " TaskRabbit " type economy gig person to collect the item and do the nessasary.
Option A would be the best.
Anybody got experience and recommendations of couriers that will collect items with handwritten labels and do the rest ?
Thanks Guys !

But you can bet that when your courier turns up, there’ll be no-one at home!

ParcelForce is probaby the best option for printerless return labels. I wonder what FBA would do if a customer didn’t have a printer?

If you have a DPD account you can arrange it with them and they attach label on collection

I’m guessing you have already offered to get them to return it and you then refund postage have you (RM/HERMES)
