Chargeback Fraud

We have received two chargebacks today. Both orders were fulfilled and are fully delivered and signed for. But on both orders the customers purchased from https://www.buzzretailer.com/ (Buzz Retail). This website is selling high end goods at knock down prices, accepting payment from their customer then ordering on proper websites at higher prices and entering the customer details, which cannot match the payment card but get authorised by Amazon Pay. 6 weeks later we receive notification of chargebacks.

Currently our loss is £297.00 but have spotted another order yet to be claimed.

Amazon have yet to inform me why they are allowing these transactions through, we have had to suspend Amazon pay on our website as it appears too easy to commit fraud.

Has anyone else encountered Buzz Retail?

Were both of the chargebacks already closed or not?

Amazon is responsible for all fraud related credit card chargebacks. So they should fully cover you if the dispute reason is unauthorised use and fund a potential refund.

Same thing has happened to me.

I’ve had 4 similar ones in December all high end electrical goods.

Al sold on the buzz retail site at knockdown prices then a month later a chargeback claim. These can take ages to be resolved but I’ve done nothing wrong and have proof of delivery on all items.

How can amazon pay authorise a Buzz Retail card that doesn’t match the billing and delivery address of the eventual recipient.

Everything checks out on our end so it’s almost impossible to detect.

It’s blatant fraud.

From our experiance, Amazon covers you for these, as long as you provide them any information that they may ask from you whilst they look into it.
