Box Dimensions now required
Up until this week when I completed my packing list for my shipment I only had to put in the quantities and the weight of the boxes. Suddenly on both rather large shipments this week Amazon is refusing to accept my packing list until I put in all the dimensions of the individual boxes. Is any one else getting this or have I missed something:(

Personally, it was never possible for me to create a shipment without providing the weight and complete dimensions (length, width and height) of each box.
As I don’t have such big scales at home or measuring tape, I always enter just approximate data, without measuring anything. But I can imagine this would be a problem if any contents of the shipment went missing, as Amazon would see that the dimensions are inaccurate.

Personally FBA we are the same as KIKA with our dimensions and weight. it would not confirm the shipment or calculate the inbound cost without the dimensions and weight fields entered.

It sounds like each account is different, but all of them will be soon requiring the box dimensions.

If your shipment is only one box, you have to type in dimensions, but if your shipment is 2 or more boxes, than you can skip this step. I was never filling dimensions until about month ago they changed it.

Yep, we just noticed it today. Looked high and low for some communications about it. It’s a serious hassle for us. Thankfully all of our vendors use the exact same box dimensions.
