Hi All,
is it acceptable to put a leaflet about your business in with orders that are seller fullfilled, or is this a big no no with Amazon?
Wanted to ask the great minds here if they has any thoughts about it, the leaflet would just point to our website where we have other titles we don't list on amazon seller central.
Thanks in advance
Paul

I believe URLs are frounded upon if spotted - but I have no idea how much amazon actually check of course (so its a risk). In terms of which policy - its likely to fall under directing customers off amazon.
You can of course include your logo and company name on any packing slips and hope the customer looks for you in the future.
Amazon's (valid) concern is future business being taken off it's platform so wouldn't take kindly to customers being directed to a sellers own website. The fact you don't list some titles on Amazon isn't Amazon's fault.
I have, as an Amazon customer, seen at least one company insert a leaflet saying prices are cheaper on their own site which i'm sure would be a policy violation but if doing FBM then it would take Amazon to make a test purchase or for a customer to complain for them to find out. The question would be is it really worth the risk.
Amazon have no problem with you using own branded outer packaging and your seller name appears on the packing slip so if that matches your website customers can easily find you if they want to without adding a leaflet purposely designed to drive customers direct to your platform.
Some of the very biggest sellers on Amazon put leaflets in their packages (or ads on the packaging) directing buyers to their own websites and they seem to get away with it. I guess they are too big to be allowed to fail even though it goes against Amazon's T&Cs.
I have had some advertising sent with goods but like most of these things they go straight in the bin
Hello @Seller_eFBIgawAZQyhw,
I'm Angie, part of the UK forum community. It's a pleasure to greet you.
The Amazon Shipping Terms and Conditions do not specifically address the inclusion of promotional leaflets in seller-fulfilled orders. For definitive guidance on this practice, sellers should consult Amazon's current seller policies or contact Amazon Seller Support directly.

Can you confirm what your answer to the question is?
There are a lot of seller policies to wade through and if there isn't anything mentioned then it will be impossible to find. Do Seller Support have access to better information than you can provide?
The Amazon Shipping Terms and Conditions do not specifically address the inclusion of promotional leaflets in seller-fulfilled orders. However, Amazon's policies generally discourage directing customers away from their platform. This is because Amazon wants to ensure that all transactions and customer interactions remain within their ecosystem, which is understandable for Amazon.
