Hi,
Has anyone had any luck getting Potential Trademark Misuse resolved. I sell mainly video games and I am getting a lot lately which I cant seem to get resolved so can’t reinstate the listings.
Eg. Tetris on the Nintendo NES The issue is with Tetris, so how can that be solved, it’s not like Tetris can be removed its the game name.
In some cases SS ask for proof I can sell these brands, they are 30 year old games how can I get that proof.

I have been having exactly the same issue. They randomly seem to target some of the Lego sets I sell as they mention Volvo or Lamborghini or Minecraft. I point out that they allow the exact same sets sold on other listings , or other sets that feature these names, and that they are just Lego sets, but the responses are just obstinate and stupid. It’s astonishing how they don’t see that its a simple issue with their bot programs and they refuse to change their minds.

The ASIN B003CSO6NY was removed for misuse of the Brand Name “Star Wars”
I believe this product have been removed in error as this product is an official licensed Star Wars game for the Nintendo SNES game console.
Could this listing please be reinstated.

I have tried lots of different ways of wording the case and this short to the point format seems to work the most.

We get these and have them all removed.
The main reason for these is that the brand on your listing doesn’t match words in your title etc. Works for us.

OK, so if you copy/paste the character options into manufacturer. Then check your title. Also put character options into brand name and see what that says.
