Amazon holding money payments

Hi , it seems that any money I have due is commonly held in reserve…in case of customer returns. When I look at the reasons why it seems to imply for FBM , but I am on Prime FBA.
Is this usual? Thanks:
Funds from an order are reserved until 7 days after the latest estimated delivery date (EDD) to ensure that you have enough funds to fulfil any refund requests from buyers. Click here to find out more about the EDD.

As a new seller who registered to sell on Amazon on or after 15th August 2016, you are subject to the Estimated Delivery date reserve.

The money you make from a sale will be held in your account for at least 7 days after the estimated delivery date of each order. Then, it will be added to your available balance and disbursed at your next scheduled settlement date (usually takes 2 weeks).

This is a permanent feature.

Here it is explained in a picture:

And here you can review the policy:

The only way how to receive your funds faster is by shipping using Amazon’s Integrated Carriers, found on this link:

Then the following will apply:

As a new seller who joined after August 15th 2016 then yes, this is the normal disbursement system for you.
You will not be able to have this altered.
However you should be able to disburse any available funds on a daily basis, so once you get past the initial delay you should be able to keep your cash flow rolling along quite happily

I see Amazon using this more and more. I’m still waiting for funds 8 days from EDD , the so called reserve ended yesterday. Amazon say they are looking into the case LOL. I have been a customer, buying and selling for over 15 years and you would expect I would have a 24hr funds transfer but NO. I have had Amazon do this to an order last July, enough is enough, I will bypass their non working complaints procedure and get all paperwork sent to FCA. Yes I’ve had enough of this.
