FBA Returns Why so many returns. Customers even damaged the products.

I have never seen so many returns except with Amazon. I run an online business and also have an eBay store. But with Amazon we get sooooo many returns. Many of these are still in good shape, but each day UPS and USPS come with returns. Amazon has created a monster by giving free returns and not making customers accountable for damaging our products. We get so many products that people just destroy the package or destroy the instructions.

Thumbs up or make a comment if you are facing this same issue. Amazon needs to reform its returns process. This is killing everyone's bottom line. We are all small businesses and Amazon

That is because of the way Jeff Bezos designed things to work. Buyers can make as many returns as they want. Buyers have been trained that Amazon allows them to make wrong reason returns to avoid paying return fees, use new items and return for full refund in 30 days, buy new media products - watch them - and return as defective for a full refund. The bottom line is that Amazon RFS promotes buyer return fraud and since 60% of returns are from 3rd party sellers, Amazon is out nothing.

A few months ago, Jeff Bezos cashed out his billions of stock in the company and left the problem for someone else to resolve.

But remember, you are using FBA and are actually paying Amazon to habdle returns for you any way they waht. At least 3rd Party FBM sellers can seek reimbursement for buyer's fraudulent returns.
