FBA Hazmat saying they are going to destroy our stock
I effing hate Amazon, if they didn’t have all the traffic, they could shove selling on there right up their backsides.
Got an email today about stranded FBA stock, finally got back to us ‘As per the update received by our internal team the ASIN:B07QN4PD97 is a prohibited dangerous good (hazmat LEV6), Health Hazard and cannot be fulfilled by Amazon or returned by Amazon. Existing inventory needs to be destroyed.’ that’s over £1000 worth of stock!
They are selling other variants of that same product on FBA, they were selling it FBA for a foreign seller, we filled in all the details they asked for before sending it, had clearance to send it, sent it, and now this.

Apologize for the inconvenience caused, are you kidding me!!!
Do not under any circumstances destroy that stock!
Who the hell do you think you are.
You have accepted the inventory, we gave you all the information you required and you accepted it.
You have no right to destroy any of our stock, there is £1000 worth of stock you are talking about there.
It is a flipping boat wax and you already sell many variants of this already.
You have the exact same product here that you were doing as FBA for a foreign seller which is when we thought we should also send some for FBA, and we just created that other listing so it was in English, This is the one that is the same that you were doing FBA https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N7W4920?ref=myi_title_dp
This is another variant https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MYCMCXI?ref=myi_title_dp and this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00NIQ2NV2?ref=myi_title_dp and this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MXYXGOX?ref=myi_title_dp etc etc etc all boat waxes, all been sold on Amazon FBA for months
DO NOT DESTROY OUR STOCK!!!

Unfortunately referencing other similar listings or other sellers selling the same item, is not going to help with your issue.
Your email to Amazon, if you did actually send that, comes across as aggressive [because you are upset] and demanding as well as using some passive swear words which may offend some reps.
You should calm down, totally rewrite your email leaving out all mention of anything other than your direct stock issue and remove all the “You have no right… It is a flipping…, who the hell…” etc.
If you received Hazmat approval to send this stock in then that approval notification is what you should be linking, not the other items.
If you get nowhere with the hazmat team you could try the Executive team, but I again suggest you completely alter the tone of your communication if you go down that route.

Granted, lost the plot, could have sent worse but kept if fairly tame, I defy anyone to keep calm when you have a monster saying they are going to cost you £1000.
They’ve destroyed £700 worth of stock before after we received an email in Chinese where they apparently said they would destroy it if we didn’t have it returned, we just took it as a spoofing email, contacted the md about that one but may as well have pee’d in the wind so I wouldn’t hold out much hope with that.
To me it makes sense if many other variants are ok at FBA then no reason why this shouldn’t be either, the other variants are polish and wax, this one is just wax.
They are also sending me messages to send in more stock of the other variants.
Ok I am trying to be calmer today, just had a run of squit with them with a-z claims and so much time lost, hassle and stress, got past all that, then this.
Thanks.

Could you not threaten to take them through the small claims courts , i realise that they might have destroyed (sold on ) your stock by then but surely they would then be liable to pay compensation . Ive been told that to start proceedings , you simply contact whoever you wish to take to the smalls claims court with a letter of intent . Amazon are such a big company , i doubt they will care but they are still bound by the laws of this country , no matter how many times they flout them ! Jeff bezos has made his billions off screwing small sellers (like us ) time for some compensation. good luck .

I have offered to collect it all without a response to that, I have also sent them screenshots and details of the exact same product they have as FBA on our account, and send me emails to send more, just a different sized bottle, 473ml instead of the 946ml they say they are going to destroy.

We went back giving details of the exact same product they do as FBA for us but in a half sized bottle, still came back a week or so later that they need to destroy the stock, I had the option to request a return to us even though they told us they could not ship them back, out of the 24 bottles they shipped back 10, and low and behold when I went to check where the other 14 bottles were, they were live on Amazon as FBA, but they have not told us that, so it seems now as my £1000 loss has been averted, the bunch of numpties.
