UPS not collecting?!
Hi everyone,
I hope you’re all well
I’m absolutely pulling my hair out here.
I’ve scheduled three UPS collections and nobody’s turned up to collect them. After several phone calls to UPS Customer Services, I keep being advised to schedule another collection as they don’t know the reason as to why they’re not coming. Lastly, I asked them that I want to speak to the depot but appartantley they don’t have a contact number for them and can only request callback. Guess what? The callbacks don’t happen either.
My only choice is to drop them off to a drop off location but it’s not ideal as there’s loads of boxes.
Anyone recommend anything else I can try?
Thank you guys

Due to it being so busy this time of year, i can only assume the drivers are so busy that they cannot collect within the usual 8-5 timing. If you can get the drivers number from the depot, you can call them and ask them directly as they could be running behind schedule. Any ups driver that is on my route regularly, i get their number so i can speak to them about collections and it gives me more flexibility. My UPS driver has even come after 6pm this month because they have so many drops. If they think your not in after 5pm they might not bother to come, so try and contact them.

Last time i checked the depot gave me the number for the driver or contacted them for me, unless they stopped doing this.

Online says 6pm. I’ve had no issues with mine recently but they are completely overrun with parcels and I’d imagine will prioritise anything that’s probably Christmas presents

If you really need to send it urgently, what you can do is assuming they are all the same items, drop a few of your boxes off at a local UPS parcel shop(doesnt have to be depot). Send enough to keep you going until ups collect the rest, they wont be busy after next week. I always do this if i cannot get goods ready for 12pm to arrange the collection.

Seems to me like a sensible option, if you don’t have a van yourself you can hire them from local places like B&Q by the hour or if you look locally there is probably a “Man with a Van” that would do it for £25 ish…
Take them direct to your local depot.

I have stayed away from FBA this year but last night I did send in a quick cheeky box. Booked it at 8pm and it was colelcted from here at just after 9am.
I’m in Lancashire.

Well done for managing to speak to someone on the phone. We have had numerous issues with UPS, had 17 pallets waiting to be collected for almost a month.
Called their CS department and was told they could only deal with this over emails.

I’ve had 78 parcels booked for collection in the past 10 days.
Most of them were collected on day 3 instead of next day.
Various couriers - they are all absolutely manic right now.
I caught DHL as I was leaving last night, and they took the last 10, thank god.

I dropped off my parcel in a UPS parcel shop on 17th Dec, they have not updated their tracking as the tracking indicates the parcel is still in the parcel shop. I think it is very busy time for delivery, just have to let go and not be stressed over it and hope for the best.

UPS prioritise parcels week up to Christmas. Partnered carrier FBA boxes tend not to be a priority Christmas week.
