Help Sending from UK to USA FBA

Hi, I am getting my first shipment of books ready to send from the UK to the USA. Firstly there seems to be no approved carrier, so do I assume that I just create a shipment direct with UPS. Does anyone know how I can arrange to pay any customs taxes so that they will be delivered to Amazon FBA?

Have you looked at the USA tax requirements?
