Read onlyI have noticed in recent months that it is taking several minutes to upload new stock, whereas before I could do it in less than a minute per item. Is anyone else having a similar problem? I have checked my Internet connection and used different devices. Sometimes I get a message saying that Amazon pages are not responding. It is as slow at the old days of dial up, and taking more than 3 to 4 minutes just to just a product. Anyone else experiencing these glitches?
Hi @Seller_67xN3UUX2GMc5,
Am I correct in assuming you’re uploading new inventory via the web interface? If so, you might want to consider using Flat Files for creating and updating listings.
It can take a little time to get familiar with Flat Files at first, but the investment is worth it. With Flat Files, you can create or update hundreds of products in a single upload, saving you significant time. Plus, if a listing ever gets corrupted, you can easily re-upload your original file to resolve the issue.
Just a thought that might make things smoother for you!
Kind regards, Michael
I am having the same problem and I thought, I have to change my machine
Yes, it has been this way since they changed the add a product page, it takes ages to load everything and you can't do anything in another tab at the same time.
Hello Sellers,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
If you have reported this to Seller Support, can you please share the case IDs?
When did you first notice the slower uploading process?
Best,
Julia.
I’m experiencing the same issue. Previously, uploading an inventory file with around 500 SKUs would take no more than 10 minutes. However, since the recent updates (like the new 'Add Product' page), the process sometimes takes up to 24 hours to complete. I tried splitting the file into smaller chunks, which has slightly improved the timing, but the improvement is minimal—at best, around 10%.
