Read onlyHello.
I received first e-mail from Amazon late May that I need to attend a video call for identity verification. I chose time slots, got confirmed the time and attended the interview. I waited 1 hour for Amazon Employee to show up, but noone attended it. I close the call. Few days later I received another e-mail stating that I need to attend another interview, again chose the time slots and same thing happened - no person showed up.
Now 3rd time I was asked the same again. This time I contacted Amazon UK customer help line and they told me that I can disregard the e-mail because it was written from ''Amazon US'' and not UK, so I do not need to attend the interview. I listened to this advice.
Next day I logged into my UK account and here it is - your account has been deactivated. Reason:
''We regret to inform you that we could not verify your identity and the documents that you provided during the video call.
Your account will be deactivated, and you will no longer be eligible to sell on Amazon.''
Now, all my information is verified, but account is still deactivated. Multiple times I asked to re-schedule the video call, but I am yet to hear from Amazon. It seems my account is for some reason being mistaken for an US account, which I do not have...
Is there any hope to get my account activated? @Winston_Amazon @Sarah_Amzn @Seller_yk3kzHpjMMa4B
Thank you.
Over 7k GBP sitting in the account, and not able to move.
Please note, my information is verified, but for one missed video call interview I got suspended, and I simply ask what kind of appeal should I write to get myself reinstanted?
Hello @Seller_NbA23FDSIUj0C,
I'm Sarah with Amazon.
Can you please share the dates when you received the email for IPI verification? Did any of these interviews take place?
Kind regards,
Sarah.
