Amazon Have Charged My Credit Card; Then Carried a Debt Forward - How Long to Recitfy?

Amazon charged my credit card on a debt; and then brought the balance forward - so I was charged twice - this happened in all EU geographies.

Going through my records the same happened last year. I have opened a case with Amazon but it's taken two weeks under "transferred" status...

How long does this case take?
