That's not how it works. There is no average. That depends on your skills as a seller, your product, market demand or lack thereof, competition, pricing, reviews, feedback.........

I am a new seller as well. I had my products for sale for a month with no sales. I did an ad campaign at 1 dollar a day and hours later , I woke up to 2 sales.
They work!
ads are the only way to be seen as a new seller IMO. (ranking) by you being a new seller , youre at the very end of the search and customers typically dont scroll down that far.
