Anyone else having issues reactivating closed listings???

I sell FBM, and usually when I am gonna be out of stock for more than a couple days I close my listing. I might have to change that approach because for 2 straight days I have had major issues reactivating my closed listings! Anyone else out there having this problem? I go through all the usual "reactivation" steps and save it, and everything appears like usual (saying it will be updated in a few minutes). When I go back to check about a half hour later, they remain Closed (with my updated quantity and price showing). WTH. VERY frustrating and time consuming.

If anyone has a solution please let me know. Thanks.

Why closing it? If there is zero inventory it will anyway not appear in the search.

Have you tried just simply changing the "offer release date" to something in the future? That's usually what i do instead of closing the listing down. Amazon always changes things in the background and sometimes that effects other systems is what i've noticed so it might be causing that issue you're having with not being able to activate your closed listings.

If you are out of stock, you don't need to close your listings.

If you are not able to fulfill your orders, due to holidays, illness, vacations, etc.

Don't close your listings unless you are officially done selling that item.

Put your account on "Vacation Mode"

We leave most dead as they will never sell again that are corrupted now! Always best to shift these items to another platform customers will find do not give into the BS that was created by Amazon!

frequently happens, you might refresh the listing, change the price by a penny. YOu might try support if you get an agent that has a clue they can fix it pretty quick. If you get an agent that has a clue, if not you will get back a canned useless template answer, just reply thank you for the canned useless template now please help.

Thank you everyone for the replies. It turned out to be a glitch that affected my account for a couple days. My solution was to delete the closed listings, and then simply re-list as new. Fortunately, as of today I am no longer having anymore problems re-activating other closed listings.

Hi @Seller_Upvu1TAAIBv2x,

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues. I would try adding your items back with an Inventory Loader File. It requires minimal information to be added and should work to get your listings to go live. If you still have issues, please create a case with Seller Support and provide them with your batch ID so they can take a look.

I hope this is helpful!

Michelle
