I have been checking this regularly to ensure Amazon didn't adjust the settings on my account and it appears it just changed from manual to Automatic on my account earlier today.
An order I received just before 12 noon is still following the manual settings and the latest order - received at 16.59 - needs to be posted TOMORROW (!) even though my cut off times are still set to 2pm.
Luckily this is a popular product so I have a copy in the house - so it will go out in the morning - and I have switched off the auto handling times again now. Fingers crossed it will stay switched off.
No email advised me this had happened - it was just luck that an order came through and I could see it had changed.
Fingers crossed all my handling times will be reset before the next order comes in!

Same here, disabled it a week or 2 ago and it's re-activated itself. Unbelievable.
I now have to pack and dispatch orders on a day we do not pack or dispatch orders (hence why we don't want Amazon dictating when/how we do things), it's basically wasted my entire day because of their incompetence.
I had the same issue with orders. Even though I dispatch 95+ of my orders on a daily basis. it's well within my right to set my dispatch time and schedule. Why Amazon think it can continue to meddle in this so called partnership still amazes me. Everything is set up to cause seller's pain and hardship which is really very frustrating
This happened to me at the weekend - realised monday morning i had 165 orders to dispatch that day which are all personalised and i have to hand make. Panic! I was not happy as the original email said this was going to happen on the 1st Oct, so i kept looking out for it that day. It never happened so i presumed they had listened to everyones complaint from the forum and decided not to do it. How wrong was i......they just decided to do it friday evening when i couldnt do anything about it. I worked 12hrs + on monday to get them all done - i was not going to get a suspended account because of late dispatch! Shame on Amazon.....stop meddling with our business and opting us in for things we dont want!
