Received Negative Feedback On Product While Order Has Not Been Even Delivered Yet

Dear Amazon!

It just seems like the buyer meant to leave negative feedback for another seller that he purchased from, but accidentally left it to me.

Requested removal but was denied.

Please help with escalating the case to the right team.

The product has not even been delivered to the customer and he left me negative feedback saying "I returned it on 418/24 and never received a refund yet"

He can't return it because it hasn't even been received by him yet!!!

He hasn't even received this item, but he left me Negative Feedback for some kind of return that he sent and did not receive a refund for it this doesn't make any sense because his item was just shipped today and he hasn't even received it yet!

100% this buyer made a mistake leaving negative feedback completely for a different item!

He never contacted me and never opened any Return or A-to-Z cases.

Could you please remove this negative feedback?

Sellers have presented Amazon with so many examples of inappropriate, fraudulent, and nonsensical feedback, the only reason I can think of for them not fixing the system is that they just do not care.

I am having a similar issue with some customers and have used the report abuse form that support has suggested only for Amazon to say that isn't the correct way to report them in response to my complaints. It would be great if Amazon could tell us exactly how to report these "customers" the repeatedly buy and return over and over only to leave negative feedback. This has to be some kind of fraud or someone trying to intentionally harm our businesses.

We had a customer leave Negative feedback for an item that had not delivered and we disputed the feedback to No avail.

You MIGHT get a mod to investigate and suggest to the other internal team to remove it, but likely it's there to stay...

What you CAN do is respond to the feedback in a professional way, and say "this feedback was meant for another seller. We didn't even ship this customers order until 4/24/24, so they could not have returned it on 4/18/24 per their feedback. This does not reflect OUR Customer Service at all, Please disregard their feedback" and leave it at that. If someone is actually looking at your feedback they will see your response.

The crappy part of this is that it affects your overall metrics. I have MULTIPLE neg feedback over the years from customers that never contacted me prior to leaving feedback and have said all kinds of stupid crazy things. I've never been successful in having anything removed because according to Amazon, since I'm "handmade" every aspect including an erroneous product review, is my fault. Literally NOTHING is grounds for removal for me according to several mods. Not product reviews, not shipping problems, not bad words disguised... And we all know that for every hundred orders you ship, you get MAYBE 1 feedback... so it's hard to recover from any negatives.

Similar to an issue I had months back where a customer got to leave negative feedback on a product that I never sold to begin with.

I talked to different people at Amazon, the last lady I spoke to laughed and said she understands why I'm upset but that they were unable to do anything about it.
